Kids are unable to give consent to anything. They are protected from responsibility because, well, they are kids.
Adults bear the full responsibility of how they treat kids. No exceptions.
Pop quiz: can you think of other situations where adults take advantage of a child's worldly inexperience and poor decision making abilities? Would you blame the children in those situations too?
Thankfully, there are situations that don't compare in seriousness to this one but the same principles apply.
I'm not saying the child, in this particular situation, should, somehow, regain their game data or benefit from the attempt to cheat but the staggering lack of compassion and sympathy for a child from this community is disgusting.
The blame lands squarely on this Kermit pr!ck.

This is pretty much bang on. Ignore the people that are trying to be on Kirmit's side as they honestly are just trying to troll hard.
-
Blame lands on both of those morons.
-
Thank you! Exactly how everyone should see it! I truly can't comprehend how some think it's the child at fault... it's actually quite depressing the amount of people in this so called community can be so vile

Yup. Well said.

And the kid's crap parents.
-
Yea, lets blame kids parents instead of kermit...... Good logic
-
Disagree. We can't judge that the parents, if they could've known, would or would not have stepped in to prevent it from happening. If we are handing out medals to shitty parents, I wonder what medal Kirmit's parents would receive... by your reasoning... After all they raised a child to be a cruel adult that f*cks over naive children.

Can't be said any better. I bet you have a certain rare quality among forum warriors. Empathy. +1 for your parents raising you right.

Well said sir.
