How does it feel? I'm honestly very upset. Once it drops I won't be able to duo it with one friend now (or solo), we have to:
1) drag a horrible player through
2) deal with an afk player
3) ugh
What do you guys think? I want an optional no matchmaking button. Is it that hard?
-
In my view the whole match making system needs to be reworked then added to raids and nightfalls. It needs lobbies ( the loading screen) lobby owners ( Team Leaders) and in PvPs case match settings.
-
Wait so if you were going to solo it in the first place........why does it matter if someone afk's it? I mean the only difference is now 2 or more people will get rewards....(Ya i know they didn't earn them/they just lazy bunches-of-oats) This system will allow me to find new friends to add on my buddy list. I am in favor of this.

Edited by Wolphe22: 2/20/2015 9:02:10 PMYou can form your fireteam before starting the heroic then have your friends leave
-
It makes it so much easier to put together a team and make friends on destiny. I'm new to PS4 (been playing xbox since I was like 6) and barely have any friends. I honestly think this is gonna make it so much more fun. Destiny should be a social game, one where we interact with everyone in the community.
-
Lol XD if you solo it , why is it harder with an afk guy!
-
Oh, boo hoo. Cry some more. I thought that people only soloed weeklies because it was such a pain to get a group together. Now they make it easier and you're still whining? Grow up!
-
Matchmaking needs to be optional throughout the entire game. Every strike is already to -blam!-ing easy there is no reason to bring another player because it's more fun solo.
-
It's only the weekly heroic, who cares. It wasn't that challenging to begin with. Might as well open it to matchmaking and make it faster. Who really wants to do the same strikes 6 times a week and search for people or wait for people to be online
-
1) As opposed to having an empty player slot that does nothing? 2) As opposed to having an empty player slot that does nothing? 3) Who cares? Queue the cryhards that complain about shitty crucible players getting good loot. The only thing this change is hurting is peoples egos.
-
If I get afkers I'm running into a wall the rest of the night and going to bed then to work. If they're still there 24 hours later... I just don't know.
-
Since bungie matchmaking is terrible try getting 2 friends to start it with you and then they can leave. Problem solved you can solo it and the match making is so bad it will rarely give u another player. I too wish there was an option. Options are always nice
-
Most likely you will still solo it because people will just join and go afk. Lol this really sucks
-
I don't understand why u can't have the option to solo it and have matchmaking. Bungie is horrible when it comes to customization. I really don't know what they are thinking when they do some of the stuff they do. this game lacks basic features that even free games have.
-
People have been crying for matchmaking for this stuff and now that we have it people cry that we do
-
I'll still use LFG to do weekly so that I can rely on teammates
-
yeah, it would solve everything if you could just play the game offline... someone explain to me why that's not possible.
-
Should have been an optional setting, but you know Bungie, they're just full of great ideas...
-
Good. That'll put a stop to people whining about it being too difficult.
-
Don't you just fn hate it when your orange juice isn't sweet enough and you fn have to add sugar. F $CK
-
Edited by FusionomaD: 2/20/2015 8:30:17 PMif there was an option I would be okay with it....as someone whoe enjoy's soloing NF 's & weekly heroic's it's a pretty crap shit deal P.S and no I don't like the idea of matchmaking for raid's they did that in WoW total shit now so you know what I'm going to be that guy 'you know the one who goes off doing daily's I can wait them out.
-
If you want to do it solo and the other people are afk it's the same thing. Except you get to help someone else out by getting them some rewards. If you want to do it with a group now you can. And if they go afk just find a new group. Takes 1 minute
-
Get to darkness zone, kill yourself, reason afk guy in darkness zone, let enemies kill him, proceed the rest of the weekly without him
-
We want options darn it!
-
Or the more likely scenario of; getting through it with a third person who performs okay but doesn't talk. Not a big deal.
-
We need matchmaking in general, Bungie's theory of matchmaking is way too flawed, specially them saying it makes for a stronger team, yet they still can't even get to the Templar, at least with matchmaking is faster, go in and if it fails you can leave and let the game replace you.
-
I like the matchmaking being introduced, but it was so dumb to take away the solo aspect for people who wanted it.
