Ok everybody has seen the video by now. Mr. Asshat convinces Mr. Naive to take control of his account via Share Play under a ruse that he can cheat Mr. Naive's characters to level 32. Obviously Mr. Naive messed up on multiple levels. Mr. Asshat is...well...an asshat. And characters got deleted in the process. But think about this: [b]Anybody[/b] who can access your console, physically or remotely, (unless you use a password to log into your PSN or GT everytime) can get on Destiny and delete your characters without your consent. It's irreversible and obviously has a major affect on your gaming experience. [b]Solution:[/b] [b]In-game password/PIN protection.[/b] Maybe not make it mandatory, but at least an option. An option to require a password/PIN to delete characters. To delete exotics. To delete legendary gear. This would prevent a lot of future problems and give the community a nice peace of mine. Thoughts?
