Destiny Universe VS Halo Universe

3 RepliesIdk the lore in Destiny just appeals to me. I prefer Halo as a game, but I think that Destiny has a great universe.

1 ReplyThe franchise where normal soldiers with glorified Captain Americas in power armor who defended several planets from numerically and technologically (and in one case biologically) superior enemies? Or the franchise with people who have damn near super powers who got their asses kicked all the way back to a single city on Earth? I think this is pretty self explanatory.

I was always of the opinion that the flood would destroy any universe since the only way to guarantee their destruction, is to eradicate all sentient life with a Halo ring or be Master chief.

Destiny has so little known about the universe it's not even funny. The so-called 'gods' can be taken out by a team of 6, so there's really no comparison.

Pretty sure the Covenant would steal the traveler and then glass the Destiny universe Earth. They might think the traveler is a holy object.

Halos story line is way richer in comparison and the multiplayer in reach was arguably one of the best since halo 3

Well the destiny enemies seem pretty weak and have pushed the guardians back to a city. So id say that most sci fi universes would destroy destiny

4 RepliesDoesn't even depend on what we're comparing them for. Halo wins regardless. Halo has way more powerful factions and technology and waaaay larger armies/fleets. If we're talking about the games themselves, halo has the better story and a better multiplayer system. [spoiler]destiny[/spoiler] [spoiler]sucks[/spoiler] Plus halo has Sargent Johnson

4 RepliesGiven what we know about Halo and Destiny, Halo would win because we know more, thus we know of more weapons and beings than Destiny. And if any of you bring up the raid bosses, those things can be killed by slightly skilled groups of six people that are the equivalent of Spartans.

Its game over once the Forerunners send in a small fleet. A single squad of Prometheans could probably wipe the City clean of all life. I'm not even involving the Precursors, as they're not necessary. The Covenant and the UNSC alone would be overkill.
