Word of Crota vs Hawkmoon
Just got Word of Crota yesterday, but no Hawkmoon. Which one is better? Shall I continue grinding for Hawkmoon?

2 RepliesHow do you grind for hawkmoon?? I mean you grind, that's the game, and eventually you get hawkmoon... Or is there something I don't know!?

Hawkmoon is one of the best overall weapons in the game, it has no equal in terms of HCs, maybe expect Fatebringer but that's only because of Firefly. Pure stats, there is no equal to Hawkmoon.

I got both maxed. If i play anything with Vex in it, i use the Word of Crota, for taking down void-shields easier. If i play any mission or strike were i don't need void damage, i usually go with my hawkmoon, since it does more damage But in raids i go with the Word, and use a secondary or heavy as the exotic
