The Iron Banner is back! Lord Saladin has returned to the tower and is selling some essential gear. Both the gauntlets and greaves that are available max at light level 36, meaning these armor pieces can either replace or fill the gap of missing raid gear. Also, weapons earned or purchased through Iron Banner can be reforged, thus giving us the ability to reset the weapon with new random perks. For example, I earned the Silimar's Wrath through a random reward. I was able to re-roll the perks on the gun to point where I had both Crowd Control(kills with this weapon grant bonus damage for a short time) and Reactive Reload(reloading this weapon after a kill grants bonus damage for a short time) which, when used properly, gives me stacks upon stacks of damage bonuses.
Tips and Tricks for Iron Banner-
-Level Advantages Enabled: Make sure your highest level weapons and armor are equipped for it makes a noticeable difference
-Iron Banner Rank 1: Once Iron Banner Rank 1 is achieved; "Emblem, Shader, Class Item each provide stacking 10% boosts to Iron Banner reputation gains"
-Tempered: "A boon from the Lords of Iron purchased from Lord Saladin, Tempering speeds Event Standing gained in the Iron Banner for twelve hours and becomes increasingly effective every day the Iron Banner is available." When they say it is increasingly effective that means that if you were to compete in the Iron Banner near the end of the event, Tempered gives a higher reputation modifier which will enable to rank up faster the closer it is to the end.
Iron Banner is going to be the main focus of the week. Raids will in no way be neglected, but I am going to begin assembling teams to compete for gear and glory.

It is also highly encouraged to decorate your guardian with as many wolves as possible. Trees are kind of cool too (myc).
