I'm not saying I'm not without sin, no one is. Taking the plank out of the eye is a verse about being a hypocrite. Not sinning in general. Learn up.
-
Yeah, which you are being. A hypocrite is a person who is more concerned with the laws of their religion than their inner well being. That was what it meant some 2000 years ago, anyways. You show yourself to be like the Pharisees in that you are judging other people- judging them should not be your concern. Please make sure you are sinless first.
-
And when did I judge them?
-
You are worried about them after death. You should be worried about yourself and your own sin before you are worried about others, especially not that we are lifted up in the sacrifice of christ. That's all. The bible verse was a little harsh and I was harsh too but i didn't realize it until now, when I read over it. I'm sorry, I owe you an apology. But the main point of my statement still stands. You shouldn't be trying to convict gays of their own sins and failings when you have so many of your own- as we all do. That's all I'm saying.
-
I'll accept your apology if you accept mine. But what I'm trying to say, is that if you get your hands dirty and I want you to wash them, (keep in mind, I've washed my own). This is my point
-
I'm not being sinless, do you even know what you're saying? I'm not concerned for myself? My well being is just fine, as I repent. Many gay people, do not. (I'm glad some do).
-
I'm glad you repent. That's great for you. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to fix sinful habits and nature in your life.
