yes I have done it several times as hunter. Any class is fine but some are better for certain parts. Lamps For lamp section hunter is easy mode as you can use invis tricks to avoid all fights and at most kill 1 ogre but that isn't even necessary. For hard mode lamp I don't kill a single thing. For warlocks I think you can use void / obsidian mind / bad juju and do it without too much trouble. Titan use blinding nades/bubble if you have it. Bridge Build the bridge by standing on center plate, just as it's about to wipe you step off the plate and then get right back on quickly. You will have to play with the timing a bit but this builds the bridge very quickly. Then watch for sword bearer and try to aggro him or pray that he goes center or right. I find if he goes left it's very tough for me. Kill him quickly and as close to center plate as possible right about as bridge is formed or right after it. Then grab sword and run across bridge, it will deconstruct but just jump and fly over the last part. Then kill gatekeeper and chill out on the right side but don't go too far right otherwise you will get totem'd and wipe. Kill ad's until ogres appear and then kill them with rockets/sniper. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9VMriN6A68 Shrieker Chest Take your time on first shrieker in normal mode there (it doesn't respawn). After taking down first shrieker you will need to move in and you can get on a coffin to shoot second shrieker or go invis for hunter. Take it down and then either exit back out to play it safe and avoid blast or continue on and go for the chest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbFE7bfkoMQ&feature=youtu.be Deathsinger This is tougher post patch because timer starts right away but it's not too bad. What I like to do is go left and lure out wizard and then go to boomer tower and kill wizard with sniper. Then run in and a single gallihorn will kill shreiker. Then move over to right side and do same process. After killing left wizard go ahead and kill the two knights you should still have time to do this. You can skip this step if time starts becoming an issue for you. Then go inside and either get on left coffin just inside door to the left and sipe away at her or use rockets/sniper. You can also go all the way into room and get on a door (works great for titan with bubble). This is the hardest part of the raid IMO to solo. Crota Be level 32. It's been done at 31 but it's very hard and only a few have done it that I know of with proof. You need 11 slams as a 32 to kill crota on normal. I think the easiest method is to kill all ad's, go get chalice and then kill sword bearer as close to right jump up as possible. Then use 2 gallihorns to drop crota, get up there and get in 3 slams, retreat to steps reload and down him again with 3 more slams. Then just repeat. If you mess up the double down then deal with ogres from bottom center and snipe them. For second sword I like to hang out in bottom boomer tower and lure sword bearer over there and kill him right as crota rotates back right (see video below) Here is my crota solo, there are ton's of others out there as well. This one is without ogres but it's a little tougher to pull off, especially first try. I have another video on my channel where things didn't go as planned and I had to deal with ogres. If you don't have a gallihorn you can still bring crota down with truth, or even LMG, warlocks can use only grenades as well. But the horn makes everything easier. Bring heavy synthesis and you can use use heavy ammo exploit on crota fight as well to save on synth. Good luck! EDIT: added a couple of clips for bridge and shrieker chest.

The Legend Himself soloed hard recently.

It's pretty easy with the proper level and gear to solo on normal. Hard mode is quite... Hard to solo. After checking out your characters though you will need to acquire some legendary weapons to attempt a solo on normal. As far as a hard solo you would I'd say need to be 32 for a solo, normal is fine at 31 though.

BUMP Tried soloing Crota myself recently. Managed the first bit fine. Couldn't work out how to do the second bridge though as all the videos on youtube were pre-patch and didn't work.

Normal should not be a problem, but it's a waste of heavy synths in my opinion

Yes its still posible. Whole raid solo. Never completed it myself. Always something goes wrong at crota ☺ But a good player could still do it.
