I don't get to do raids very often; therefore, it is hard to achieve the maximum level. It would be comparable to have story missions in the land of Xür with exotic class items that allow for equipping multiple exotic items.
Have Xür be from a different dimension where the physics are weird: walking on walls and ceilings and the such with reverse gravity that pushes away from a central point. I don't know, but let the imagination run wild like Alice in Wonderland except with a lot of explosions.

Why don't you get to do raids often? It honestly took me like 5 weeks until I got into my first raid and now I'm running them all the time. If you have the expansion and have characters 30+ send me a request if on ps4 and we can run some to get you some gear.

No raiding should be the only way to get full max gear. A quest you can accomplish by yourself is too easy. Although quests from Xur would be very fun and maybe if they're a lesser light level.

Edited by JAC_4midApple: 2/18/2015 5:42:55 AMI'm just trying to think outside the box. Okay, Xür is not from another dimension, but the darkness could have weird physics. The point would be to recreate the allure that the Vault of Glass had with puzzles to be solved by trial and error but have it on an individual level. Perhaps, the enemies spawn in a powers function on easy [f(x) = x^a with x being number of players and a being the constant for deriving number of enemies], and have the enemies spawn in an exponential function on hard [g(x) = b^x with b being the constant linked to number of enemies and x being number of players.] Reward for easy: ability to equip two exotic weapons and two exotic armors not including the class item. Reward for hard: allow all slots to be filled with exotic items.

Maybe Xür has a brother named Zür. I corrected the misspelling.

***xür

Xur isn't from another dimension, he's from the outer planets, where the Nine live. Those tentacles are caused by Darkness-exposure, similar to the change in the Awoken.
