RNGesus Loves Me, Yes I Know
So I dropped in on a Gorgon's Chest invitation this morning (0130 EST), got 2 Legendary class items that I already have...
And RED DEATH.
I did my first character's Nightfall this morning after I woke up, a couple of my clan friends went through it with me. One of them got shards, another got Voidfang Vestments.
I got a Gjallarhorn.
So, 2 exotics in 8 hours, each of which I seem to recall Xur has only sold once, one of which currently makes people throw their controllers across the room in frustration when they don't get it.
Celebrating a little bit here.
EDIT: Even though I'm in the "exclusive" G-horn club now, I would still rather it had been the Suros. Third nightfall granted me a Vanquisher VIII with Counterweight and Crowd Control, not bad, no complaints. Still looking forward to Xurday...

1 ReplyRNGeezus blessed me this morning as well. After calling out of work due to snow (I live in the south so its a legitimate excuse) I decided to do some raiding on my Titan. I got a set of raid gauntlets, the chest piece and the rocket launcher all in one raid. So I am finally able to get him to 32 as soon as I get enough mats. All in all, its been a great day. Plus, my wife is a lot more dedicated to her job than I am, so she's working today. Which means I can grind the Iron Banner all day long as well.

1 ReplyI got Achlophage Symbiote (spelling) and Crest of Alpha Lupi, both of which I already have. I started to complain and then I stopped myself and realized, I already have most exotics. Of course the chances of me getting the couple of exotics I don't have is extremely rare statistically. Be thankful for what you have, there are some players that would have been extremely thrilled to get those two exotics I got in nightfalls this week.

Got the Truth Rocket Launcher for the 6th time for this week Nightfall. - Bought first from Xur - Second was from a Tiger Strike - Third from Crota Chest - Fourth from Ir Yut - Fifth from Crota - 6th from this week Nightfall. No Gajallahorn yet!! Just need. - Gajallhorn - Thunderlord - Red Death - Universal Remote However I finally got the HAWKMOON from Hard Mode Crota, which was a surprise since I didn't even see that it showed that I found Hawkmoon. Didn't think I was ever going to get this gun. I seriously believed that Xbox players would get their hands own this before me. I also got the Crux of Crota as well. So 3 exotics in one day. Not bad at all.

The dick hates me. Just got a grimoire card for my 30th raid completion, done the nightfall just as many times(if not more) and I have never gotten a SUROS, Gjallahorn, hawkmoon, hardlight, Monte Carlo, Vex or a Fatebringer! Not to mention still waiting on a blackhammer, word of crota and a light of the Abyss from the crota raid. I have a fleet of Timebreakers and Vault ships and anough shards and energy to power a small country though. Woo. RNG is a -blam!-. An Utter -blam!-.
