Gays? What you think about them
I am gay. I am solemnly asking for all opinions. I don't care if your against gays or homosexuality, I just really want to hear all your opinions. My entire family is against gays because they are Christian so I'm pretty much screwed in life

39 RepliesGay people are fine with me, I as a Christian only worry for their safety in the future (aka after death) and people hate me for it. My views won't change if you try to argue with my religion so whatever...I just want them to make the right choices.

Not gay. Have plenty of gay, bi, straight friends & have no issues with it. They respect I'm not interested & don't try anything. I respect their prefences & don't judge them based on something neither of us had a choice in. You don't choose homosexuality, just like I didn't choose heterosexuality so why try to judge you based on it? People in general need to stop worrying about what two consenting people are doing.

A gay person is one who... likes the same sex. I dont see why homosexuality is such an issue. It's not choice. If people choose to be homosexual, why dont they just revert to heterosexuality after all these horrible things are said about them? Or even done to them? What boggles me, is why is this even news anymore? Why does some celebrity or proffesional athlete have to announce that they are homosexuals? This shouldnt be news.

3 RepliesI have nothing but empathy for gay people. I know what it is like to be discriminated against and I know that gay people have it much worse. Good news is that more and more people are starting to accept that it's a totally natural part of being a mammal species. Science has shown that nearly 10% of all mammals are homosexual. It's partly genetic but it is more about the way the brain developes as a fetus. Neuroscientists have learned that in most gay people, a certain part of the brain is more developed than in others. Anyone can look up these studies. It's simply about biology, really. Anyone who thinks it has anything to do with morals just isn't paying attention to facts. They are told that lifestyle is wrong because of ancient religious ideology. Depending on where you live, chances are pretty good that you could find a great group of friends who will support you. They can function as your new family. Just know that you are not alone. There are tens of millions of gay people in the US. You are not screwed in life.

You're not screwed, stop being dramatic. To answer your question I'm indifferent, you have a right to love much like I do and it is not my place to take that away. That said I don't have to agree with your choices but I do respect you as a human being, I've known a few gays and the have all been stellar people I'm sure you're no different.
