Just some rambling and don't know if it has been said before.
'Create a gun'. Now I love my auto rifle but its impact sucks. Find good impact & rate of fire or stability suffers and I get that. But maybe we could create our own gun?
I could easily give up my fire rate even reload speed a bit for some impact, and I know in the details of the gun you can add certain characteristics to the gun but I was thinking you could even customize that, but buying anyone that you have set as default (EX: Damage with weapon cools down melee, kills quicken reload speed, or random bullet does extra damage, etc.). Now I was thinking 20,000 glimmer you can buy a weapon from a guy like Xur (not Xur he has his own purpose) that comes in the mail after a few days. It could be Orange and labelled Unique (only can create 1) and can be trade among charaters like any other weapon.
You can even add your own personal flare to it. Such as back ground (fallen, hive, vex, cabal based)(and obviously primary or secondary or heavy types). Mess with your own details, like adding an Element (or 2 to switch from), choosing what kind of sight you want and its special use (like using a Heat sink) So if I made an Auto, I would then also have to pay for it to be changed to a Pulse or a Heavy. Even adding certain elements to it to fit what you are using it for. The prices to make them active are doubled. So instead of 250 glimmer and 5 spirit blooms its 500 and 10 (guess that didn't need explaining, sorry)
Another thing I was thinking about it, is why can't the Cryptarh sell you rare or higher Engrams? I mean I get that if you give him encoded engrams that he 'levels' and you get a few extra from the postmaster. But why can't he sell them at your level? I think it is weird that he still has white. I wouldn't even mind if it was only rare and no legendary. Same with the GunSmith I suppose.
I was also thinking about gear, which you buy and grows with you, again 20,000 Glimmer and starts off as white and slowly grows to exotic (exotic being Max lvl at the time, during this post it would be 32), again you buy the special details (EX: Melee cools down grenade & vise versa, kills with super create more orbs of light, or added abilities so you don't have to equip that, like extra grenade or melee attack) you want and then those unlock at certain levels. You can create 3 of these 1 for each class (seems fair).
Also I was wondering about Class specific Weapons, (Since this game is like it is based off the old Dreamcast Game Phantasy Star Online). I was wondering, if you could make a hand weapons? Like with the Warlock aim with your hands and shot like an Element beam or Splash damage (depending on the ablitiy? or with the Titan or a Hunter whip out a kick-ass Melee Weapons (not like those Arc Blade something that doesn't effect Super) with their own Special abilities.(Titan could be like a Crota looking blade and hunter could have a light saber lol, I mean come on its a freaking light sabre lol)
Also Bosses.. Make like a spider for Hive. An Snake for the Fallen, A Golem for Cabal, and an Experimental Super Solider that the Vex fused with from an old guardian. they should be something unique not just a bigger version of a regular enemy. Like the Fallen Walker that was unique (the Cabal tank too).. but it bothers me that it doesn't move over the map, just in a small area and you don't need the vehicle to destroy it.
Yea like stated in the title.. just rambling, turned out a lot longer than expected.
