Robotics are advancing at a wonderfully fascinating rate and I'm so excited to see what the future holds for us
One robot that's been a bit of a hot topic lately is Spot. In 2008 footage of [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1czBcnX1Ww]Big Dog[/url] was released, a bulkier less advanced version of Spot. Today we can see how complex the robot dog is. Able to handle rugged terrain and even being bodily kicked down.

Some amazing things that I hope to come from Spot, in hopes that it's not hoarded for military use, is helping the disabled. Perhaps it can carry groceries or lead the blind. It could be programmed with AI that allows it to guide civilians in cities when they're lost or direct people at train stations/air ports. The possibilities are endless. That's just me spit balling though.
