New Content - The Segregation Wars
Where there is light, there is darkness - Roho, the Old Warlock.

Part 1
After all these years, many guardians died, disappeared and defeated waves of dark forces. They were born from light and took it with them everywhere, trying to recover what was lost to The Darkness. All of them showed pure hearts and only one need: defend the galaxy from evil. But one. Many years ago, one guardian was touched by The Darkness and succumbed to it. Yïr, The First, left the Vanguard planning to destroy The Traveler. He began to blame it for the destruction of the Earth, saying that The Darkness was nothing more than a consequence of The Traveler's appearance. Through the years, his name started to become a myth, but none, not even Ikora Rey, believed in the stories. And now he's back. After assembling a group of Darkened Guardians (awakened not by ghosts, but by The Darkness itself), Yïr began to prepare his ultimate vendetta against The Traveler, the light and the Vanguard. Filled with hatred, he gathered every weapon and enemy he could use to start The Segregation Wars. His first attack will be on The Tower and it is up to you, guardians, to impede him. And to put an end to his dark empire.
The Segregation Wars is one of the biggest DLCs to come to Destiny and will tell the story of the guardian who separated from the light. His name is Yïr and he is known as The First. The content will have its starting point on a Public Event that will take place in The Tower, even though this is a social hub. This Public Event, which goes by the name “The First Day”, will only happen once and that’s why we’ll promote it one week before it happens. Everything will begin with Yïr’s ship appearing. He’ll present himself to everyone and will explain a little about his story. After this, some Darkened Guardians will show up and the players will need to kill every one of them. Only then, the missions, raids, strikes, NPCs and the entire content of The Segregation Wars will be unlocked to everyone.

Content
NPCs: All the NPCs we know are going to have the option to "talk", in which they'll express their thoughts about the return of Yïr, revealing much of themselves. Roho, The Old Warlock: He will appear at The Tower right after the guardians take out Yïr's army. As with Eris, he will give the new missions and will have specific bounties concerning the Darkened Guardians and The First's revenge. The Class Modifier: The DLC's missions will have a new system called The Class Modifier that will create different ways of completing the same objectives, depending on if the player is a Hunter, a Titan or a Warlock. Planets: Finally, we'll have a new planet on PvE, Jupiter, where the last missions will take place, as well as the Raid "Darkness". The first half of the DLC, however, will happen on the mountainous lands of Nepal. [Map] Icarus: An immense flying city on Jupiter. Although the architecture reminds the human Golden Age, the constructions are older than the Traveler’s appearance. The hands of an old unknown race built this ancient city, even though there are no proofs of their existence. The scholars like to call them “The Winged”, even though nothing from this race is on Jupiter anymore. As if they just disappeared, there are no bodies nor signs of a great extinction. Crawling in the corridors of Icarus, however, there is something dark. [Enemies] The Seism: Savage, primeval, dangerous and gruff beasts. Contrarily to The Fallen or to The Cabal, The Seism have no developed intelligence. They are spread all over Icarus just destroying what The Winged created, without a clear objective or capacity to gather themselves under one leader. The Seism don’t use weapons, but they can throw heavy debris on anyone who dare to confront them. This race have strong armored bodies and most of them are slow. To attack they have to get close so they can use their enormous arms to cause massive destruction. [The Seism] Messengers: Little four-legged spider-like creatures. The messengers are the weakest, but fastest, enemies from The Seism. When seeing a guardian, they dash towards it and jump on their bodies. Using their long tail and claws, these enemies stick to the players and start to drain their shields. One messenger is incapable of killing a full shielded guardian, just because they fill their bellies fast. After absorbing the shields, they fall on to the floor and are unable to move for some time, just to get back on their feet and try to consume another victim. [The Seism] Stains: These amourphous gelatinous black creatures are almost motionless. They spend most of the time stuck on the wall, but, when a menace closes in, they drop and stick on the legs of the enemy, releasing a toxic gas. The guardians attacked by a Stain will have difficulty in taking their feet off of it and, while they are trapped, the guardians will lose health points because of the gas. [The Seism] Centaurs: Mostly a centipede. The upper half of his body is completely armored and, if the creature wants, it can be risen to confront the guardian. The centaurs don’t have a face because they have miniscule legs below them completely, even on the arms it detaches when they prepare for battle. When far from the guardians, the centaurs throw rocks and other heavy things it finds on the battlefield. When they want to get closer or to ambush, they can climb the walls and wait until the players appear, so they can jump on them and use their claws. [The Seism] Hammers: The Hammers have big shields on their arms which they use to protect themselves against the guardians' attacks. Differently from The Hive Knights, the Hammers move towards the players while using the shield, but they do it very slowly. If not killed, the creature will hit the guardians and try to push them off the edges of Icarus. [The Seism] Boitata: Gigantic beasts with four legs and an enourmous jaw used to crush its enemies' skulls. The Boitata is the biggest creature from The Seism and the most dangerous too. His main attack is The Bash. It runs and throws itself against the guardians, doing massive damage. [PvE] Attacks: The Darkened Guardians can appear randomly in any part of any planet or satellite - even during missions or strikes - dropping out of ships and attacking the players inadvertently. [Strike] The Rock Tree: At the center of Icarus there is an ancient tree, created by The Winged and called The Rock Tree. The Seism always gather around it to feed and to reproduce. Master Rahool discovered that much of the strength of The Seism come from The Rock Tree and its fruits. Even though it is part from Icarus' history, the guardians need to destroy it. For this strike the players will need to use solar weapons, because only them will be able to burn the tree down. [Sparrow] The Black Flame: An old rusty sparrow, forgotten by time. It was recovered from the metal chaos of the Cosmodrome. It's a vehicle filled with darkness and power. The expelled torch has a black color and, even though no one understands why, if boosted for long enough, the sparrow and the driver become invisible. [Patrol Mission] At Your Own Risk: Banshee-44 will give the new "At Your Own Risk" patrol missions, in which he'll ask the guardians to test new weapons prototypes he created based on some strange blueprints (meaning "kill a lot of things with it"). Every gun tested on those patrol missions is unique. Some fire grenades, other fire blades or even toxic gas. Casually, the weapon tested can explode and kill the guardian, what completes the mission too. [Patrol Mission] Hit The Road: Holliday is testing some ideas for newer and more resistant Sparrows, but, in order to complete everything, she needs to know how much the older ones can take. That's why she is asking you, guardians, to run over some enemies and to make a relatory (if you survive, of course) about the damage your vehicles suffered. [Patrol Mission] Taste Of Revenge: Roho is still angry because of the attack The Tower suffered and discovered that some Darkened Guardians are meeting on some part of the map. This patrol mission can only be completed when the player take them out, sending a message to Yïr. [Patrol Mission] Wrong Place. Right Person: To dominate the Crucible and rise victorious you need to train, guardian, and this place looks perfect for it. Lord Shaxx's patrol mission will create three zones on the map and will launch waves of enemies against the player. In order to complete the mission, the guardian needs to get to a minimum of points. Just like in Control, the more dominated zones, the more points the player get for each kill.
The Segregation Wars and all its content are my creation and, even though it is based on Bungie's intellectual property, Destiny, it has no direct relation to them nor to any of their employees.
On my commentary down here the rest of the content (yep, I created a lot of things hahaha) is placed. Any opinion (whether you liked it or not), please, put on it so everything is beautifully organized!
Sorry if anything is bad written, English is not my main language :x
• Good effort. It seems like you invested quite some time in this. Take into account that by now Bungie has already planned, almost certainly, all the future DLCs and Expansions for the first iteration of Destiny. However, that doesn't mean these ideas lack relevance. Although the implementation of The Segregation Wars as a DLC/Expansion is unlikely, Bungie will be glad to know there are fans out here creating ideas and expanding the universe on their own. It's not entirely clear what you want to achieve with this, but it's a good piece of writing with an interesting project; it seems to stay tangent to Destiny's universe too. Good luck and hopefully the community will take notice of your effort. Keep writing.
