"...So what did I miss?" Hanne-16 asked the two of them.
"I'll explain at the tower, let's get back."
Back at the tower Erik explained everything to Hanne-16, she was quiet the entire time, but that's just how she always was. She didn't seem scared about the possibility of a new abomination in the Hell mouth, they were ready.
They arrive at the Hellmouth, this was it, they were going to go in and find whatever it was down there. Whatever it was that...killed a guardian by making him laugh?
"Well at least we have a secret weapon if we find this thing..." Asger said excitedly.
"Fine, I'll bite. What's our secret weapon?" Erik asked.
"If it kills by making people laugh, well just send Hanne-16..."
///SMACK\\\
"Ow, okay okay I'm sorry Hanne-16, you know that was a little far though." Asger said laughing. "You're metal, so smacking me is like hitting me with an aluminum pipe."
"Try titanium, but I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to hit you hard" Hanne-16 said with remorse in her voice.
Erik laughed loudly, these were his best friends, just being around them seemed to make everything better. Especially when Asger made an ass out of himself, and even more so when Hanne-16 disciplined him for it.
"I guess this is it guys, just another life threatening mission, just another day in the life of a guardian right?"
~ present ~
Erik dropped the hand, it was Hanne-16's hand, he was sure of it.
...It's just her hand though right? It doesn't mean she's dead... she's just wounded.
Hanne-16's body was actually nearby, but Erik wouldn't find it. If he actually wanted to look it wouldn't take long, but he knew she was gone, and he wanted to live in denial.
Thankyou for reading, this is your friendly neighborhood AnonPig reminding you to live beyond the story!
