Who else thinks that it's dumb that you have to rad to be max level?? Bungie should make it to where you can get max level with PVE, but for the better gear you have to raid.
Edit: I meant non raid PVE

Eventually there will be enough iron banner gear to hit 32. Which is great, because I think it looks much better than the raid gear.
-
Or just not suck so much and play a raid and get the gear. You are such a scrub if you can't complete a raid.
-
Well, there is some Iron Banner gear that can make you 32. But non raid PvE should never make anyone the max level
-
What besides raiding requires max level? Nightfalls are two levels below, ROC strikes are 6 below, level doesn't matter in crucible, and the damage difference between a 31 and a 32 is negligible in Iron Banner. There's nothing in the game besides raiding that you need to be at max level to be able to do effectively.
-
How do you get gear better than max level
-
Dude you're not even 31. I felt the same way then one day I hopped onto recruitment and in minutes jumped into the raid and completed it in no time. I have very limited time to play, so I thought I wouldn't get to do it, but now I see that's just an excuse. Focus on the gear you have get to 31 level your weapons and get to it!
-
Stop being lazy and do the raid we all know you're not good at the game for what you just said and If you hate on the post go for it I don't care and won't read them
-
I agree at some level, but why would you need raid gear if you arent going to raid
-
Me no unerstan

Poorly worded, but I get what your saying. Level should be independent of gear. Levels above 20 in Destiny are not actually levels, it is a gear score.
-
I think you should have to level your players like normal, and raid gear should just be armor. I think Light Level is dumb TBH.
-
Because reaching level 32 isn't supposed to be something that everyone can do, regardless of skill level. The Raid is the pinnacle of Destiny's PvE content, and as such it's rewards are equally unique. Iron Banner has caused multiple arguments over "real" 32's, and it's not easy to get to 32 through that venue either. Destiny isn't a solo game. The entire premise is a "shared-world shooter", and therefore most of its content is geared towards teamwork.
-
As I understand it, the only benefit of level 32 over 31 is if you are raiding anyway. Or perhaps Nightfall.
-
What you just said makes no sense, you're saying the raid should give you better gear. It does..
-
Huh? Raiding is PvE.
-
So then raid gear would still technically be the max level...
