Once a pond a time Crota was big and bad. Guardians feared his presence and dreaded passing the chalice of life. Then hard mode came out and this chalice of life became nothing but a distant memory. Soon guardians just forgot about the normal raid altogether and easy mode wasn't even an option anymore. Hard mode became normal and our standards were raised along with the difficulty. Guardians started looking for there next challenge after conquering this "hard mode" and were left wanting. Wanting for too long. "I'm bored"

It's because, as with everything in life, people learned how to deal with this new challenge. It doesn't mean it isn't hard or challenging. Go take a team full of newbies who've never done a raid before or seen a video walkthrough through CE if you want a challenge. I just really -blam!-ing hope they don't ramp the difficult by implementing some bogus crap like extending boomer range or randomizing sword duty based on feedback. It's already bad enough that they randomize the team that gets tped in VoG when originally anyone could choose who went.
