strike until Xur sells heavy ammo
Let's all put the game down until Xur sells heavy ammo synth. Simple way of getting what we want. Let's stop playing until he sells it.
UPDATE:
I just finished up a few rounds of PVP. Had 28 kills my last match. It was your garden variety ass kicking. Listen though. I'm still going to need all of you to power down your consoles and cease any gameplay until I say the strike is over, even if I play a little here and there. It's my strike so I make the rules. Check back here everyday and let me know you're still striking. I don't need to check in because it's my strike. Thanks guys.

1 ReplyIn other words - "let's stop playing bungees game until they give us exactly what we want" Everyone needs to quit crying about how Xur hasn't sold heavy in a while. Nowhere has it ever been said that bungee has to do what the players want, especially with something so small as having the weekend vendor sell heavy ammo synths, which can be obtained from 2 other vendors and bounties regularly.

We need heavy ammo really bad. Two of us on hard were shooting Crota only because they rest had no synthesis.

1 ReplyI'm with all of you. The heavy ammo issue is a microcosm of how Bungie has managed this game from it's initial deployment. If the game has an issue but the user is on the losing end then it's on the "roadmap" to fix. If the issue benefits the user then that shit is sorted out in one week. It's been months, heavy ammo is still broken and Xur the Terrible never sells it, so to all my Guardian brothers here is how you get all the glorious purple ammo. Load up any primary, Icebreaker secondary and any heavy. Deplete all your heavy. Deplete all your primary Now you are left with only 6 Icebreaker rounds. Kill stuff. It's important that as soon as your primary and Heavy are empty you have targets to kill. Whip that icebreaker out and let the genocide begin. If you do it correctly every enemy you kill will drop heavy. BOOM!

I think Xur stopped selling Heavy Synths because there's been a lot of people saying that the synths aren't working right, or at all. Wait until 1.1 comes up, then complain.
