How I would do it: A player would choose a faction to represent (DO,NM,FW) by going to the faction handler and buying a faction pass for 1000 glimmer (it would apply to each character). Each day the crucible game type would change (Ex: Tuesday -Control, Wednesday-salvage, Thursday-clash) and each time a faction team wins it adds a point to that faction and at the end of the week which ever team with the most points wins. Why would people do this you ask? At the end of the week a player gets a package based on how many points they put in if their team won. (Subject to change) 10-Bad package (energy or shards) 25-Ok package (Emblem or a engram) 50-Regular faction package (Weapon or armor) 75-Double drop faction package (Weapon or Shader) (The drops would be faction specific) This activity would increase play time and draw PvE players to PvP.

  • I think these are great ideas , just have to figure out how to keep people from switching factions midweek as well as make sure all teams are even. An example of that would be DO having 1000 members while NM has 1300 members. So uneven membership would make it harder on the teams. Unless (which I personally wouldn't like cause its unfair) they make it a weekly thing or monthly and cap the amount of participants. Bungie should look into this cause I would certainly love a reason to play PvP other than bounties

  • could just limit the faction pass to once a week or month and specify a npc to sell it so you can only choose one.
