Making friends with ravens...
...just in case you're too socially awkward to befriend real people!
Nah, i'm just kidding. This is just a video I found on youtube and thought would be interesting to share. Ravens and crows are both beautiful birds, the entire genus that these birds are a part of are actually quite appealing, at least to me. And apparently they're relatively intelligent as well.
But anyway, if you can get past the narrator's odd speech pattern and watch the entire video, I hope you enjoy.
Fair warning, if you have a problem with viewing dead animals, this may not be something you'd want to watch. Circle of life and all that, nothing too bad.

1 ReplyI dont know if this has been previously stated but speaking of their intteligence they are able to remember people that have harmed them and start avoiding them or attack them( if they get shot at while going over a farm they will avoid the farm and the word to spread to other ravens and even go into further generations who know to avoid it), excellent at making and using tools to solve problems. They also have been observed timing traffic lights and putting a nut in the street when its red and let cars run over it to crack it while green and wait for it to turn red again to retrieve it. Intelligence like this was once thought to belong to great apes, dolphins, and elephants. I think its pretty cool and find animals fascinating too bad humans like to kill everything

11 RepliesI love crows/ravens I think I am going to be an ornithologist just to study them. They are so smart and so human like it is incredible. Plus they are super tough where I live crows chase down red hawks for going in their territory.
