what do you want as a new gun type in destiny
Be creative here there are no wrong ideas.
I would like the Spartan laser to be a weapon personally, just called something different "Charge Rifle" was a name I had in mind

It would be cool if high RoF auto rifles were replaced with submachine guns, and if there was a different kind of handgun. Like really, we're hundreds of years in the future, but we're still using revolvers
