Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

Mine has range finder. Field scout. Armor piercing and the final perk is crowd control. I love that thing

I got two of them from blues and it is really good! I love it.

I was not going to level any fractions but when I noticed that the Vanquisher VIII was not one of the RoF auto rifles I decided to join New Monarchy. I like this weapon because of itz fast reload after emptying my clip. Its awesome. If I do find the drop version ill see what its like.

I like it and have it on my hunter. I prefer the Auto rifle from CE Hard Raid because of the solar damage.

I love my Vanquisher VIII, rolled with Hip Fire, Field Scout, and Crowd Control.

I got mine with the same perks the day the DLC dropped. It is definitely my goto primary of choice for everything, even above Raid primaries.

Edited by TeKnoVKNG23: 2/22/2015 3:41:57 PMThe vendor one is a POS, I'm still hoping to get one with better perks from a package as I've tried using the vendor version in both PVE and PVP and it just seems to not be that good. Honestly I think its mainly because I hate the standard scopes that come on the vendor one. That one you got from the Nightfall sounds like my roommate's Shadow Price he got from an engram, Field Scout and Third Eye, it was a 42 round monster and he still wrecks in PVP with it.

Mine came with hip fire, field scout, and glass half full. Suffice to say, it's pretty beast. I love it. It's a legendary replacement for my Suros.

got a real solid one, has reactive reload, hammer forged and third eye, its great in pvp. i also have another with cascade, fieldscout and third eye, its nice but dont really use it that much, field scount is good but would be a lot better with something like crowd control

I only got mine yesterday after grinding it out in the crucible for so long. I bought it from the Vendor so I know it's perks aren't just as great. However, that doesn't stop me loving it. The impact is just sexy. I have glass half empty and spray and play. It feels a little troublesome to use at first but once I get it levelled up, I'm sure it will be even better!

I got a package from vanguard level up and it had legendary engram which turned into viii it rolled cascade perfect balance/ field scout / hammer forged glass half full I have been using it in IB and its pretty decent

I only have the vendor one, seems great for Iron Banner's headshot bounty though.

I have one with only perks unlocked so far. Took it out for a spin in Iron Banner despite it being currently underpowered, and got 4 headshots right away. Mine has 3rd eye, reactive reload, and perfect balance. The only thing I dislike is the red dot sight, it's clunkier than my gen one auto rifle's sight. Got to grind out some upgrades so I can use it for the rest of this IB.

Counterbalance, Field Scout, Crowd Control. It's a great AR, it just doesn't get the use from me that it probably should as I like scout rifles too much. I'd love to get a Vanquisher with Focused Fire and Field Scout, but I dislike everything about New Monarchy beyond that gun and got the one I have from the cryptarch.
