Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

5 RepliesAny V8 with field scout is one of the best legendary auto rifles out there. I however rolled one that shall never be dismantled, with third eye, field scout, and outlaw. It's my go to auto rifle, even with the recent nerf. I've had to set it aside in preference for Three Little Words, but I still keep it in my inventory and transfer it to whatever character I use

I have the exact same roll on my vanquisher. It's collecting dust since it got nerfed though.

2 RepliesI've got both Hammer Forged and Counter Balance but I haven't used ARs in PVP for a while. Are they still viable? If not, I might as well scrap this thing. Any expert AR users?

4 RepliesI just watched Mr Fruit's video on Auto Rifles where he uses the Vanquisher 8. It only does 23 on headshots in pvp. Gonna be hard to compete with the Thorns, Felwinters and pulse rifles everyone has suddenly started using.

It is hands down the best legendary auto in the game. If rolled right, probably even the best legendary primary.

I don't have it yet but I really hope I get a vanquisher from a package because the normal perks don't look so good besides perfect balance

Mine is reactive reload, option for high caliber rounds, perfect balance, hammer forged and crowd control. Too bad it hasn't got field scout :(

The one i got from nightfall has reactive reload, field scout and third eye. Of course i love them both but i prefer to use the vendor one because it makes me be more precise and more careful with my shots due to the small magazine size.
