Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

I absolutely love my Vanquisher. Just got it from my nightfall on Tuesday and the perks make it freakin beastly. Reactive Reload, Hammer Forged, Crowd Control.

Awesome rolls. This is the best ar as far as I'm concerned. Since the nerf I havent been a fan of ar's My hard light has gotten kind of soft, and the regime has fallen. It's the vex, or vanq.

2 RepliesIn season one I got a Vanquisher VIII from a nightfall. Thought "eh, probably won't be that great" until I checked the roll. Third eye, Field Scout, and Outlaw. It's the first thing I'm using etheric light on, and easily my favorite auto rifle ever

I really like my Vanquisher, but i love my Shadow Price just a little more. Still use both of them in the crucible :)

Mine sucked majorly. The nerf turned it into a tickle machine. I nave to reload at least once per kill.

I like it, just because my shadow price went out of atk range... Its just a hap filler. Buts uts the best in the market, nice rolls dude.

I prefer my vender model with glass half full, feeding frenzy, and perfect balance/send it.

Mine has cascade which I would trade for anything and half glass full got it from my first nightfall

Edited by Silas051: 4/26/2015 2:34:32 PMI was happy with mine. Got reactive reload, field scout /lightweight /hammer forged, glass half full. Still use it sometimes, but autos need a buff big time for me to make it a main weapon.

I have one, but sadly no field scout. Used it all the time in crucible before the nerf. Now I use Oversoul Edict in place of it.

Vanquisher is the best non-exotic AR. The only problem with it is that ARs are in a very bad spot now, so I rarely use it

I have field scout, fitted stock and crowd control on mine. Beast.

I loved the vanilla v8. Now, however, I don't even use autorifles. They are the most grange class in the game.

I love it! One of the best autos period. I got a decent roll: field scout put 42 in the clip with half glass full and melee increases reload speed- normally I don't like this perk but as I have such a large mag I don't need it BUT as I use it on gunslinger the throwing knife is classed as a melee strike! I get increased stability AND better reloads on consecutive head shots...
