Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

It was my go to crucible primary until the Special Ammo/ Auto-Rifle Nerf. Now it's just a vault queen.

Had a V8 drop on nightfall a while back. Good gun but with crap perks. Percetense, glass half full and no field scout

I grinded NM only for the V8 but in my opinion its terrible. Kind of a bummer. Im sure its mainly Due to the AR nerf though.

Mine dropped from ranking the vendor up. Cascade, skip rounds/field scout and glass half full...pretty good I think.

2 RepliesI leveled up New Monarchy just to get this gun, and I was finally gifted it upon hitting rank 10. I love it too, it has the Reactive Reload and Crowd Control Perks; so I get bonus damage when I reload after a kill, and get bonus damage after a kill.

Have two of that gun. One bought from the vendor.. and after upgrading that one, another one dropped from nightfall with other perks.

Mine has reactive reload Field scout / hammer forge / perfect balance Glass Half full Better than the vendor one but prob not the best.

i've got rangefinder, persistence and field scout on mine - wish the ARs could have a little buff again so i can use it more.. was great fun
