Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

It's the second best auto rifle in the game. I love the Shadow price too, but there's no substitute for the Vanquisher.

7 RepliesI got the same type and your nightfall version, field scout, third eye, perfect balance and glass half full on it, it is the best AR I have ever held, it's only too bad that it's max damage capped at 300, I wish there was a way I could take it beyond that.

I have it, but i really only use it in the Oracles VOG. i prefer hand cannons

IMO best legendary Auto-Rifle in the game and arguably the overall best Auto-Rifle full stop (Suros loses points for being an exotic).

Red Hand 9 is so good. I love it, maxed it out and it is great. Outlaw perk on it makes it similar to the fatebringer along with explosive rounds.

Never got one and had to buy it from the vendor. It's a nice auto but clip is a little limited. I was lucky enough to get an up for anything with some nice stats and I gotta say I think I like it better than vanquisher, even tho the impact isn't as high it's very stable with a 38 clip

Mine has increased stability and second half of mag does extra damage. Field scout, yeah it's a beast.

I have Vanquisher as well with field scout. The best primary in the game. I take it over the Mythoclast.
