There is so many red flags with this whole thing.
It doesn't help that some exotics appear to be weighted to drop more often than others—I've had No Land Beyond, the worst exotic gun in the game, drop for me not once, not twice, but five times.
Huh? wtf is this idiot going on about. I've personally had more Icebreakers and last words over anything else. Same with patience and time. Had that thing over a dozen times.

You do realize that you're agreeing with him, right? And not disproving anything? He offered an example of some exotics dropping more than others, and you gave three more. The RNG seems to favor dropping dupes of what you already have over gear you don't have. I've got three Gjallarhorns.
-
I don't even know what you're going on about.. he said exotics were weighted and I disagreed with that.
-
You think you disagreed with him, but you supported his point. You don't see that?
-
lmao you are stupid. NLB doesn't have a higher drop rate. Which is why I said I got more better exotics more than I did NLB. In fact I still have only got 1 from crota. Which is also why I said what I said in my reply to the other person who replied to me before you might I add.
-
You really don't see it, do you? You're my favorite.

Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 9:44:09 AMI'm still waiting for you to show me. Ex: He said:
It doesn't help that some exotics appear to be weighted to drop more often than others—I've had No Land Beyond
I said:
I've personally had more Icebreakers and last words over anything else. Same with patience and time.
also said:
Yea because destiny has a tendency of giving you what you already have or even more so what you already have just recently got. Not because exotics are weighted different.
I'll say it again. NLB doesn't have a higher drop rate over others. Also on a side note i find it funny over other people it was you that replied to me. Just like how all the trash players decide to dictate things around here.

Edited by Hidefininja: 2/11/2015 9:52:57 AMHaha, okay, here you go:
There is so many red flags with this whole thing.
It doesn't help that some exotics appear to be weighted to drop more often than others—I've had No Land Beyond, the worst exotic gun in the game, drop for me not once, not twice, but five times.
Huh? wtf is this idiot going on about. I've personally had more Icebreakers and last words over anything else. Same with patience and time. Had that thing over a dozen times.
You literally said almost the exact same thing as Kirk, but you think you're disagreeing with him. He said it appears that some exotics drop more than others, then you said, no, I've got patience and time over a dozen times. When someone says "it appears," it is the same as saying "it seems." He didn't state it as fact, but as an example of a trend he had noticed. Then you provided three more examples, supporting his observational thesis. You see, if you replace no land beyond with the last word, ice breaker, or patience and time, you're saying the same thing.

Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 9:59:56 AMLike I said and no where did he say Destiny likes to give you what you have literally just have got. This can also be applied to things like chests. Example if you get a legendary out of a chest, don't stop farming them because the chances are very high you will get another or more out of a chest. Destiny also has a tendency to give you things you have literally just dismantled. Destiny also has a tendency to give you what you already have. He said some exotics have a higher drop and lists NLB as one of them. This is incorrect. Go away scrub.

It's cute that you don't know inferences and examples are.

Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 10:14:40 AM
It doesn't help that some exotics appear to be weighted to drop more often than others—I've had No Land Beyond, the worst exotic gun in the game, drop for me not once, not twice, but five times.
Like I said. Exotics are not weighted to drop more often than others. Anything in this game has a tendency to give you what you have just got.
It doesn't help that some exotics appear to be weighted to drop more often than others
There is a difference and he doesn't even know it which is why he said it the way he did. Not to mention the countless others around here who don't understand destiny rng. If you go to fix or change it depending on whether or not it is intended that way. You wouldn't go looking for a problem of exotics having a higher drop rate than others because that's not the problem. Or Which is why when I dismantled my fourth gjallarhorn it gave me another right after. btw nice inferring skills

I love that you're still at this.
-
lol you're trash
-
Lmao you got cooked
-
oh look another pleb. lmao i'm shocked
-
Lmaoooo you got cooked
-
lmao nice

Holy shit, I just saw your Grimoire score. No wonder you're so butt-hurt about the article that you're choosing to misread it. Destiny is your life. I like you even more now, life-scrub.
-
Oh look I didn't even look at the poster until now.. It's you. NO WONDER. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that shits so funny. I didn't even look but it all makes sense now why you so salty. lmao
-
Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 10:50:16 AMAssumptions.. and I'm the one butthurt? hahahaha Also says the guy who replied to me first and has kept replying after each of my replies. Also you inferring someone with a high grimoire score has no life or more importantly takes a lot of time is laughable. The game has been out for awhile and on a whole separate note people have solely gone for high grimoire with very limited time played.
-
Actually, I'm the original poster of this thread, you simpleton. You responded to me. And so you're saying you grinded just for Grimoire? That's lame, man. Though I'm not sure if that's what you meant since your English is so brutal. You're pretty funny, though, so feel free to stick around. You might not be as cute as my dog, but you're almost as smart.
-
Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 11:03:14 AMUhhhh I replied in the post you made but I was in no way speaking to you scrub. Where did I mention you in my comment? In fact if memory serves me right I even referred to the people who created the article. Unless... you wrote it. So stupid. You then replied to my comment I made.. difference, big difference. Lmao and you have the nerve to bring up inferences to me. So trash. Not only in the game but in life. The grinding for grimoire is just silly. You don't even really need to grind anything. Most of it just comes playing the game normally and naturally. Also how you got that I was implying anything about how I played the game out of two sentences is beyond me.. dumbass can't even get through two sentences. Where did I imply I grinded just for grimoire? Also if someone wants to grind just for grimoire that is their decision how they want to play. so I fail to see how it's lame. I personally could care less but I can see why you would care.
-
Did Crota normal on my hunter and got TWO NLB (4th and 5th total). I then did Crota on my warlock and got my 4th universal remote and another NLB (total of 6). I can't get helmets for either or hunger of Crota but I can get THREE NLBs in the span of a two hour and a 4th Universal Remote!
-
Edited by BLAZE: 2/11/2015 8:16:20 AMYea because destiny has a tendency of giving you what you already have or even more so what you already have just recently got. Not because exotics are weighted different.

Edited by PROCK7: 2/11/2015 2:03:39 PMI'm stating that the drop rate is retarded and needs fixing especially the dupe rate. Like you posted, I also have multiples of items and regardless of the weight of the item there shouldn't be multiple drops of the same item if possible though it can occur. I was exasperated when I got THREE of the same item (NLB) in a two hour block. That's ridiculous. Would you agree that needs to be changed? Edit: I read the rest of your chain with the other guy and I see evidence that people are placed in loot groups so there are more weighted chances for certain items. Your thoughts?

If you are looking for other things along those lines then I got another that just hit me while I was playing. Handing in engrams if you have a legendary and a whole bunch of blues. Hand in the legendary first and then quickly hand in all the blues. I get tons of blues turning legendary when I do this. What I do exactly is keep legendary engrams to the side. When I have a whole bunch of blues I take one legendary to open first before all the blues. Then I hand in the legendary first and then rapidly hand in all the blues.
