Crota's End Drops Gear More Often! Chea Right!?!
So I finally decided to resurrect my old hunter last week for something different to do since this game is so boring being max level and pretty much having everything. I got my hunter up to 20 and had my old VoG gear and ran Crota's End to start getting more gear. For that whole raid I got the chest armor and black hammer (3rd one) and a bunch of materials. I figured that was fine and ill just wait for the reset. I get up today and run the raid first thing. Not ONE piece of gear dropped the ENTIRE raid. 5 -blam!-ing energy, 8 god damn shards, and my 8th -blam!-ing dragon's breath, what a -blam!-ing joke this game is, this has turned me off and makes me not want to play. If I had got 1 piece of gear that would've been fine, but no that's not how the game sees it. Apparently the game saw my "fun" drop as that piece of shit dragon's breath and since I aldready have enough shards to level up the gear that I need this was a complete waste of my time. Thanks Bungie, your programmers are a bunch of assholes. -blam!- you, I'm out.

1 ReplyI have bad RNG luck too, dude. But calm down. It isn't their fault. It's RNG. That's it. Bottom line. I've gotten nothing but gloves on my hunter every week since DLC launch. It happens.

Lol u didn't get gear from doing one normal crota gun what do u want? To be 32 after one run oh wait then u just go back to being bored

5 RepliesDude...you're not guaranteed a "fun" drop every single raid. No where does it ever say that. You have literally run the raid twice with that character. I've had plenty raids where I got nothing but mats or a duplicate piece of armor. It's a little premature to quit the game because you didn't get another piece if raid armor on your second raid with that character.

I didn't get enough gear to reach 32 until a few days before Hard Mode released. And that was still faster than VoG. So yes, gear drops more often but don't expect to get full raid gear in two runs. Gotta love this "instant gratification" generation these days.

Gear drops more on hard mode Crota's End. I've averaged 1 or 2 pieces per raid on hard. Normal feels like one piece every other raid is possible or duplicates. I think the helmet only drops at Crota, so use an exotic helm and just run fresh up through IrYut until your 32 unless you have a good team.
