My 5 friends and I raided the other night for over 2 hours with no luck in killing Crota... 3 of the friends left to go to bed and we went to the forums, we picked up 2 guys and one guy said "hold on I've got a friend on but he's a 31" we all agreed that he could join since it's still doable with a 31 or two in your group. So he pops in the party and the original guy is like "Yo man, you there?" and that's when it happened... he spoke and everyone's worst nightmare... a squeaker, speaking through his kinect.......... We briefed him on our strategy telling him exactly what to do and when to do it. We thought we had him coached up and started it up and he ran straight out we wiped. So we laid out our strategy again and one of my buddies sent me a text with the exact words "I have no faith" I sent back "I'll give him 2 more attempts and I'm going to bed" so we started our second run and someone else died in the crystal room so we wiped. This was my last attempt, we ran the squeaker through the strategy one last time. We started the third attempt and the crystal room went perfect, no deaths plenty of orbs, then we run outside, down Crota once, twice then run to the ogre room. Run back out down Crota one last time and............... . . . Victory! It was an absolute miracle but we probably made that kid's day or week. We got lucky and he didn't talk a whole lot, but when he did he was asking a somewhat silly question, I didn't care though because I got my W for the week.
