Better question: Why is that such a big deal?
-
Edited by Kichiro: 5/13/2015 11:59:15 PMbecause they were made of dna from a white guy. 4+6=9 I'm sure they have a reason for why it is, but some people want to know why, it's not a big deal, it's just a question. I'm excited to see why in episode vii.
-
Actually it was established that the Empire started recruiting from the masses. The clone thing was during the clone wars and that guy's true ancestory was Maori, not white.
-
The guys name was Jango Fett and if Maori isn't a bad attempt at Mandalorian, then you need to catch up on your lore
-
Edited by Gladlin: 5/27/2015 9:35:58 PMI should have made myself more clear. I was referring to the actor who played Jango Fett who is of Maori descent.
-
I bet they did it because the clones all got the same sickness and died, clones are a bad idea.
-
-
Not a reason.
-
Y not
-
He stole the armor.
-
Havn't the Stormtroopers always been black guys? I mean if Stormtroopers were just new Clone troopers but still clones of Jango Fett (Temuera Derek Morrison) in the movies, then they've always been black guys
-
Actually. Clone production halted after the end of the Clone Wars. The Emperor started enlisting real peaople (humans only... Racist) for Stormtroopers. The remaining clones just died off in battle. If you want an explanation as to why the emperor did this, play Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
-
I cant get past the Vader mission where you fight him the first time (But by now I may be better)
-
If it was humans only, would the Empire be called xenophobes and not racist?
-
Because he enlisted, Storm Troopers aren't clones anymore. Some of the clones from the clone wars were enrolled into the Storm Trooper ranks but they quickly turned into commandos. People were able sign up to join the empire since New Hope.
-
The guy was in disguise.
-
Diversity quotas.
-
I think it's because at that time period storm troopers were recruited and not cloned. I THINK. I'm no Star Wars expert
-
I believe you're correct. If the Battlefront series is to be believed, Kamino sided with the Rebellion and the cloning facilities were destroyed. Also, we don't know he's *Actually* a stormtrooper.
-
That happened before the rebellion even formed. This Kamino incident happened during the early days of the empire.
-
Right, specifics are always a little fuzzy in those sorts of games. All I know is that it was after the conversion to the Stormtrooper-type armor.
-
Edited by VII: 3/3/2015 7:21:08 PMStar Wars: The Force Unleashed II contradicts Battlefront. It says that the clone facilities were instead re-purposed for the more important task of cloning Jedi.
-
It's all a bit wibbly. Regardless, clone troopers stopped being made. Also, both are non-canon anyhow
