what do you want as a new gun type in destiny

Be creative here there are no wrong ideas. I would like the Spartan laser to be a weapon personally, just called something different "Charge Rifle" was a name I had in mind

  • I want a elemental chain gun, you shoot one enemy and until 5 seconds after they die any enemies near them receive chain damage and it stacks over each enemy. No more objective camping.

      Lasers Should have a short charge like fusion rifles but with a continuous stream of energy I don't care if its for heavy or special those two are in dire need for new weapon classes

        • Each class should have their melee augmented by gauntlets. Hunters get new, stronger knives. The Warlock's force push will have side effects and more power. Titans will get a stronger ouch with high knock back.

        • I think putting a sword/melee weapon class into the game would work. Probably as a special weapon. Having it out could improve agility, and there could be different types like slow or quick. First person would work well, imo. Attacks could be varied depending on left or right trigger. Like a swing for right trigger and a stab for left. They could have elemental damage and different perks, like the poison of Thorn or a perk like thunderlord where the more you attack the faster you attack. Maybe even a perk like disintegrate where a frontal shield is gained. Damage would vary depending on swing speed and weapon type. I could see some styles like a bladedancer actually living to its name and taking advantage of their invisibility and the speed of a quick melee blade to get close, or the striker chaining kills with FoH and a slow, hard hitting melee weapon, switching to it as he closes the gap to his enemy. Simply putting one melee weapon into the game won't work. Look at the case of the No Land Beyond or the universal remote (which I think should fire hard hitting slugs for its exotic perk, if they were to overhaul the weapon) They were each introduced as one weapon, not a weapon class, so many people don't take them seriously, or as more than a gimmick. Introducing a full melee class would mean that you mean business, and that these could replace your special weapon if you wanted it to. Plus, what hunter would reject the look of a light, quick solar blade at their side, or what titan would reject a huge hammer bursting with arc energy resting on their back?

Granade launcher Laser rifle or more Derrected Energy weapons Dual pistols (cannot ADS and slower reload ) Smgs (Dualy) Slug throwers (Slug/shrapnal launcher) Crossbow/bow Elemental flamethrowers Railgun(heavy fusion rifle/ Explosive sniper rifle Semi auto/ full auto/ burst pistols Shield guns (alows you to give a team make a over shield) Working beonetts Undermount attachments (granade launcher/shotgun) Sonic boom launchers(stagers enemys and gives them a blind effect for 3 seconds Minigun(Large mag, very slow reload mediumish range with medium damage Flecheti launchers, causes a DOT effect Detainment net launcher Explosive charge launcher(You chose when it explodes Quasar rifle, a weapon that creates a beam the goes from one enemy to anther within a 5 meter radius Electro rifle, causes a AOE type electrocution type damage Shield and gun (one hand can sport an smg or pistol and the other carrys the shield ) only protects agenst light arms fire, you crouch to put up shield and hold l2 to aim and r2 to fire if you press r2 while crouched you hip fire. Swords, takes 2 to 3 hits to kill, no bash/ replaced for block Gauss cannon its like a granade launcher but with farther range less damage no gravity effect and is a heavy or you can call it a pulse cannon, it fires fast but with a slow reload and a decently sized mag Energy lash used to pull enemys closer and deal large amounts od damage, sprint attacking will cause a wave affect, bash attacking will cause a stun AOE curcle that lasts 4 seconds Sticky gun, a weapon that sticks mini bombs to an enemy, like the needler but with no tracking and way more ammo. Silenced Bullet type weapons, makes it harder for enemys to spot you. Prone ability Beam rifles a continuing beam of energy, like fusion rifle but automatic and has no ammo mag. It has a power unit which sports a 100% charged ratio each % is messured by EPS energy per second it can go from 1 to 100. One special perk available to this weapon type could be OverHeat, the longer this weapons fired the more damage it does Photonic rounds or also known as disruptor rounds, can do extra damage to all shields but not as much as the elemental affect ment for that shield type 50% reduction Im outta ideas, Your thoughts?

            • A flame thrower that uses tubes of propane witch means you have to reload it quite often. But you can find them with all different perks and burns. Like a arc thrower with faster reload Void thrower with that perk that makes it do more damage after each kill stuff like that I reckon that would be kinda cool Another idea a sniper rifle with a Millie gun chamber at the end. It does less damage than normal snipers but has low recoil and a kinda high rate of fire. After each bullet the chamber rotates ready to fire again and you can hold down the shoot button to make it shoot fast. 4 bullets per mag you gotta land 3 to kill another guardian or 2 headshots
