Well, I don't know about you, but I have had a heckuva time trying to get a raid/strike together. We all know how hard it can be to find people in the Tower or to trust to the fireteam randomizer. You can look up your friends, but half the time they're either already doing something or about to get off. The LFG forums are a mess - filled with people who take this stuff way too seriously. And the LFG threads (even on Bungie.net/Dod seem to be non-platform specific and things get buried quickly. So, I've created a calendar online. If you click http://teamup.com/ks15706bb4444fd09f/ you can see it. Everyone here is free to post in it, no account needed, no e-mails, no nothing. Here's how I'm envisioning it working. [u]START YOUR OWN RAID/STRIKE:[/u] - Click the link. - Go to the date and time you want to raid/strike, and click the start time. - When the "Edit Event" window opens, fill in the information. - When making a title, [b]please list at least the [u]event, level, and platform[/u][/b]. For instance, "Crota normal - PS3". If you want to put more information, have at it! - Adjust the duration as you think is appropriate - List your own PSN/GT as the "Who" - In the notes, put your PSN/GT plus your main character that you're bringing. You can also put other information, such as "Training for new guys" or "Dads of twins encouraged!" Whatever you want. - Click save - When the time comes for the event, send a mass invite to everyone on the team (or the top 3-6 people - it's your choice). [b]JOIN ANOTHER RAID/STRIKE[/b] - Find a raid/strike that you think you'd like to participate in. - Click to open the "Edit Event" window - Add your PSN/GT information, plus your character, at the bottom of the list. - Click save That should be about it. This is new, so there are bound to be bugs. Let me know about them! Also, if you haven't figured it out yet, this process is going to require a bit of maturity and trust on our parts. Anyone can edit anything in the events. Please don't erase other people's information. Also, add your name at the end of the list. For me personally, I'm going to send invites to everyone on the list at the same time. But, some may choose to take the top names first, assuming a "first-come, first-served" philosophy. It's up to the fireteam leader. Lastly, remember that we're all Dad's, first and foremost. It'll happen where a participant or leader may not be able to logon at the designated time. If that happens, I think we'd be fine if someone else just took the initiative and sent invite requests to everyone on the list. If/When the leader checks in, he'll see everyone's already there. If there's a spot for him, great. If not, well, he's no worse off than if he'd never made the calendar event. I think that's about it, for now.
