Death if by land, Killers at sea

We watch helplessly on land as the waves crash upon us. Slowly we make our way across the land hoping to find salvation. Only when we take our last breath we find that which we have been searching for. Freedom… Freedom, is that what we truly wanted? What we searched for after all these years, trapped on this land with no means of escape? If freedom isn’t what we seek, then perhaps we have been led down a path of darkness. Now only the whale fall awaits us.
