"Carry the Light"

So unless you've been living under a rock the House of Wolves will be coming out, with it comes a lot, like A LOT. I will detail the highlights below.
-New social place
explore the Queens Reef station, looks pretty neat, there are ghosts around so keep an eye out. Also plenty of new vendors.
-Transmog~sort of
a neat feature in some MMO's allow you to keep the stats of one armor and make it look like another if you prefer the design. Destiny now has something similar. If you really liked your gear from the VoG but it limits you to level 30, well now you'll be able to level it up to 34. same goes for all your guns.
-Trials of Osiris
This new competitive PVP area will test you and your team, find some crusaders you work well with, the reward looks pretty sweet.
-Prison of Elders
Still not a lot is known about this new game mode, but from what we can tell its going to be a type of horde mode, it will supposedly be different every time you go in. expect anything. Bungie will reveal more at a later date.
-No Raid...yet
It's true, there isnt a raid set to release with HoW, but there will be one later this year for it, some speculate that it'll be will the "Comet" expansion set for fall. im going to be more optimistic and say late summer (july/august). Bungie claims that they want to make sure it will be good and not as easy as Crota (which has now been reduced to single players seeing how fast they can beat it...)
-New quests
obviously. More details later when they release
-New Armor/Weapons
Unlike the previous expansion we are actually getting new armor and weapon designs rather than a change in the color of the paint. finally more individuality.
the target of this DLC has been overall "replayability", this has been something destiny has struggled with up until now with the only things worth replaying were the raids. We've all had our faith dashed, smeared and ultimately broken in some cases over this game, but a small bit of hope now shines again for the future of this game. like all MMO's they start out pretty rough (final fantasy 14 literally had to recall their game and start over, now its one of the favored MMO's out there with tons of content)
Bungie will keep trying with Destiny, they worked on it for 7 years to date. Their confidence in their game should give us some reassurance that Destiny can only get better from here. Carry the Light Crusaders, i hope to see you in the Reef.
