Warhammer
For those who like to play the miniature wargames made by Games Workshop, tell me about your armies. Do you play Warhammer or Warhammer 40K? What armies do you run? Got cool pics of your army that you're willing to share and show off? This is the thread to do it. Let everyone be envious of your awesome skillz.

1 ReplyIn Warhammer 40K I started with a Chaos Space Marines army and then got Tau and now I have Space Wolves, I also started playing fantasy recently so I have a Wood Elves army but so far it's just 2 boxes of glade guard, 1 box of dryads, and a spell weaver.

I haven't done anything with my collection in years though, GW's price gouging just sent me away from the hobby. I also have a load of black library novels and almost all of the video games.

8 RepliesI play warhammer fantasy. the only armies I do NOT play are: -Skaven -Daemons of Chaos -Beasts of Chaos -Tomb Kings I lean more towards my elf armies and lizardmen. just love to look of them soooo much. a bit sad that wood elves have fallen from competitiveness at tournaments, but that's why I have so many other armies to choose from.

1 ReplyAt one point due to my love of the miniatures looks but lack of painting skills I made a few purchases of painted models off E-Bay. I have a sadly unused army of: -grey knight terminators -normal grey knights -loads of kasrkin (a few with meltas or plasma weapons, about 3 sarges, one modified to have a vox device) -a Leman Russ with the head of a different tank. -a sentinel -a few storm troopers. -one sniper (Vostroyan or so, correct name escapes me) Unfortunately: 1. I've yet to play Warhammer, but I do kind of want to see these troops see some action. 2. I have a faint idea as to where I could find others to play with, but ultimately I know nobody else to play with. 3. I need to learn the game.
