Embers and Cinders - A Non-Destiny story.

[/i][/b] [u]Additionally, I have pulled one character from a different piece of fiction, Navi. You should recognize the fairy, do not fret, she is not going to be as annoying as she was in LoZ[/u] Embers and Cinders Prologue Maleficent wandered through the forest, her black hair wrapping around her face, similar to a lion’s mane. I am going to find nothing tonight, what a pointless search, thought Maleficent. She began to return to her home. She felt her foot hit an object that isn’t usually there, she crouched down to to examine it, it was an enclosed small wooden box, about the size of a baby. Maleficent crouched down, pulling the box's cover off. Inside, was a child, a girl. She had brown hair, the child opened her eyes slowly, revealing bright blue eyes. An icy breeze rushed through the forest, blowing Maleficent’s hair away. She was different, she had tanned skin, and dark brown eyes. She quickly picked up the box holding the child, she sprinted towards her abode. When she arrived at home, she hastened to remove the child from the box, deciphering what to name her. A name sparked in her head: Ember. Maleficent’s eyebrows rose in shock,”That’s it! Ember! Ember Skyfall!” She placed the child on her lap, Ember was fast asleep, and Maleficent followed her shortly afterwards… Ember Age 12 “Mom! I am going to go to the hamlet nearby to get some stuff!” yelled a child, it was Ember. She had grown extremely well, her brown hair began to get some blonde shades in it, and her blue eyes stayed as bright as ever. “Very well, child! Do not stay long though!” said Maleficent, who was inside the small cabin sorting clothes. “Be sure to get Navi!” Navi flew from inside the house and hovered next to Ember. ”Hi Ember!” said an overly excited Navi. “Hi Navi!” replied Ember, she was a child nonetheless, and she acted like one. Navi was her fairy guide, an assistant, a helper. Navi hovered alongside the child, her blue aura glowing brightly in the forest trail. The duet began to make their way to the hamlet, Navi mimicking Ember’s joy-filled skipping. The two skipped happily through the forest, but not one of them noticed a pair of green eyes watching, staring at them.
