Hello, I am a relatively new user to the Collective and I would like to make a master list of all the known Hive Gods and Hierarchy, if one does not already exist, so I'm asking for you're help. Post any Hive Gods or hierarchy I missed and I will compose a master thread probably on top of this one.

Edited by Astral Centipede: 1/21/2016 12:26:48 PMThe worm gods (Eir, Yul, Ur, Xol, Akka) basically set the standards of what a god is. Oryx becomes a god by killing Akka, his daughters seek to become gods by killing 1 of the 11 axioms (self-evident truths) describing the ascendant plane like Akka was capable of. After Oryx killed Akka, he gained the right to speak to the Deep (AKA the Darkness) directly, just like the worm gods do, so being able to communicate with the Darkness without first dealing with a worm intermediary is what I think separates a high god from a lower god. Below the worm gods and Oryx (which is on the same status as the worm gods), there are the lower gods that have the sword logic to carve their own throne worlds to cheat death. This includes Crota, and the sisters of Oryx, who are Savathun and Xivu Arath (though I'm betting they're top tier gods now since they parted ways with Oryx). Toland confirms that Akka is back to life, as Oryx was making sacrifices to him (King's Fall grimoire).

Edited by Ruin Tree: 11/10/2015 7:00:57 AMEir, Ur, Xol, Yul, and Akka aren't Hive, they're Worms. They turned the Hive into what they are today. Taox is forsaken by Oryx and his sisters for not only refusing the Worms, but for usurping their father, the Osmium King. It depends on what you mean by god. Oryx, Savathûn, and Xivu Arath are "gods", and so is Crota. Then would Ir Halak and Ir Anûk be? Balwur is Savathûn daughter, would she be a god? What about Urrox, a descendant of Oryx? Or would he be a demigod? For that matter, is Oryx's Court full of gods? What about the Warpriest and Golgoroth? The only concrete "gods" we know of are Oryx, Savathûn, Xivu Arath, and Crota. It's up to you whether you want to include all the others in the preceding paragraph.
