“I undertook a mission in to the Vault of Glass called Unsealed Paradox, which finally provides some answers regarding the fate of Praedyth.” - Planet Destiny
At last, we may finally get some answers.
Obviously this is old, and obviously we have more information, but how did we not pick up on Preydeth's fate sooner? We knew he went into the Vault, we knew he got Gorgon'd, and in addition, we probably should have picked up on the paradox surrounding the Gorgons. If they were to completely erase something from time, it would have never existed to erase from time, meaning they would have to keep anything they "erase" in some kind of memory only known to them.
In addition to this, what about Pahanin? Pretty sure he's in the same boat. I think it's one of the Titan armor pieces (could be wrong) that says something close to "I entered the Vault on my own, but I was not alone." Preydeth, Kabr, and Pahanin were the fireteam to enter the Vault, and only two of them have anything about them now. What happened to Preydeth?
What happened to The Third Man?

I'm kidding, I know he isn't related to that.
Yes... I never thought he was actually dead... He was more like lost in time, he couldn't come back to reality basically... Until someone would give him a hand out, Praedyths revenge and timepiece explain some. Revenge: "Praedyth's fall isn't over, because it hasn't happened yet, and it will happen again. He hasn't died yet since it hasn't happened, and then it will happen again. This means he is basically just on a loop, he will keep reliving the same thing until he gets rescued or we learn more about it. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong... but The Timepiece just further backs it up that he was lost to time, Timepiece He skipped like a stone on times ocean. This is what's left This basically just backs up that he was sent into past/future and was lost to time. And the pulse rifle is all that was left of him before he was flung into the past or future.

I was always under the impression Praedyth was not erased from time but rather lost in it. The description of Praedyth's revenge would seem to confirm it. "Praedyth's fall isn't over...because it hasn't happened yet... and it will happen again. This seems to imply to me he's stuck in a time paradox experiencing the same event over and over again and failing to do whatever he has to do to end the cycle. The Mission's name is also called "Unsealed Paradox" which sounds like us unsealing a time paradox.

That's probably the one we say in the trailer. The one with the Taken -blam!-ing Oracles
