How many weapons will there be?
Does anyone know how many weapons there'll be in Destiny?

More than you can think, but not more than borderlands. Mainly because bungie is using their time and love to hand craft each and every weapon in the game.

That's just counting to a million. Let alone creating each individual gun, testing it out, balancing it, then finding a place were it can be found or taken. If every bungie member worked on creating guns it would still take over 10 years to design one million unique guns. Bungie already said they aren't using a random weapon generator like borderlands so every gun they create takes thought and time to create. Plus I wouldn't want so many guns. Most of us wouldn't see half of them. Sorry to be a dream crusher of over one million guns but it's just not plausible with what bungie is trying to accomplish. I say around ten thousand guns. It may not seem like a lot but ten thousand unique guns is ALOT of guns and will take a lot of exploring to find. If you read this far thanks for reading! Nobody knows for sure, but it's a safe bet to say there will be at least 50 unique, exotic/superior weapons, and (if they design them similar to borderlands) hundreds of variations.
