how do I make this my clan?

You probably can't because bungie will only allow 100 people to be in a clan so they have had to change this from a clan to a group....which a group will not give you a clan tag while in destiny.....it is a big problem for a lot of established clans

You have to go online to bungie.net and log in. Then look up the clan and choose set as your active clan.
