Cybervenom Technology
The history of Cybervenom, predates the fall. Data records gleaned from various sources throughout the system indicate it was a widespread, if somewhat exclusive tech
Although many factions had the ability to produce Cybervenom warfare, high production costs meant only the most powerful governments and corporations used it with any regularity
The origins of Cybervenom are unknown. What we do know is, Cybervenom surfaced after the perfection of biological computers and the breakthrough of Molecular Nano Technology. The ability to fuse synthetic and biological compounds, created multiple application in the scientific world. Foremost of which being the Sentient Exo Robotics Systems. More commonly termed Exo
Although Cybervenom can be used in larger weapons such as ballistic missiles and rockets, its far more common application is in small arms ammunition
Cybervenom delivers a threefold punch. A traditional round is fused with a synthesized toxin that also carries viral properties to both synthetics and biologicals. When fired, the round still delivers its traditional punch. In addition, the high impact creates an activating catalyst for the toxin within each round
Micro organisms within the toxin will rapidly replicate within a biological environment, quickly attacking the nerve system and shutting down vital organs like the heart and lungs
When in contact with any synthetic control systems, Cybervenom reacts like a highly sophisticated computer virus. It will quickly override targeting computers, life support and combat HUDS. Any system not fitted with advanced anti viral, and trojan countermeasures, is quickly overcome and rendered useless
Most combat suits today are fitted with adequate countermeasures as to not be permanently disabled, however even a temporary disruption can mean a strong tactical advantage to those using Cybervenom tech
Cybervenom was recreated within Citadel labs. Culminating all available data and research sources, scientists were able to improve the tech, by both reducing production cost and improving countermeasures to the many strands of Cybervenom in circulation
