Starting in a few weeks, we will require that all API calls include a valid API key. See the original post that describes how to insert a key in your request. These keys have proven useful on a number of occasions where we have reached out to developers whose apps are causing issues on our servers. Your cooperation has been appreciated.
If you are already adding a key, there is no action for you to take. If not, please get your key and start adding it to all requests as soon as possible.

How's this to be implemented? I'd expected you to return a JSON message with an "API Key Required" message. I've a script that accesses https://www.bungie.net/Platform/Destiny/Manifest and pulls down new mobileWorldContent files. It seems its HTTPS requests are being blocked. .. Actually no, it seems like it's being tar-pitted. Is it possible that my IP is in the naughty corner for some reason?

Edited by DMase05: 7/12/2015 5:10:50 PMIs API Key registration still open? The "verify email" step on the registration page isn't working. The Verify button is disabled even after I enter my valid email address. Edit: Cancel that. My email wasn't "verified" on my bungie account. Problem solved.
