Actually I'm quite pleased with this piece, I think it's the best thing I've drawn/painted so far. I've been practicing pretty fiercely since I was 16, now I'm 19 and I'm trying to learn faces.

I, too, can draw many things well besides faces. They just have so much detail, and unless you get every last detail right, then it looks weird and inhuman most of the time. Especially the eyes; if you don't draw the eyes so that it looks like they're focusing on one thing like normal eyes do, then they look all weird as if the person had a glass eye.
