I am interested in your thoughts on the website and am curious what console you are thinking of going with next gen, now that the dust has settled and you have had a chance to rationally consider options.
If you give the article a read you will notice that all of the staff were drawn towards the PS4 and Wii U, and found it difficult to talk of the Xbox One with anything but an indifferent neutrality. If you are thinking of opting for the Xbox One next gen I'm especially interested in hearing your justification.

I'm buying
#Gaming
I'm getting an Xbone. -I have had an Xbox for a long time, and my XBL account reflects that. -I'm a Halo fanboy. -Xbone has better exclusives like Titanfall and Dead Rising 3. -Kinect is an added bonus, I'm not worried about the extra $100. That's one game plus a DLC. -Graphics will be slightly worse than the PS4s, but that will only really be noticeable on PS exclusives. -I managed to convince most of my friends to get an Xbone.

I will be getting an xbox one. Based on my experience with the last gen ps3. Xbl is a much higher standard of online service. Psn was a joke. The tech really isnt that far off and the xbone controller with new rumble feature Will be an added bonus. Money really isnt an issue and tech will be similar on multiplats and ps3 didnt really have many exclusives. Not to mention xbone will have dedicated servers available to all developers.

I'm getting both in November. I have both the PS3 and Xbox this gen, I'm doing the same this time around as well for the exclusives. However, I'm going to be mainly gaming on the Xbox One. So, to answer your question if I had to choose one it would be Xbox One. -Been a part of XBL since mid 2005, that and Online service is superior. -Prefer the controller (Especially for shooters in general, that's what I mainly play. PS controllers are terrible for shooters. Why would they make the R1 and L1 ADS/shoot?!. ) -Competitive community thrives on the Xbox due to E-sports being on Xbox (Xbone confirmed to be the console again for console E-sports) <--- This is one of my biggest deciding factors. -Most of the people I know are sticking to Xbox. The one I don't understand is the Wii U. I keep hearing how miserable that console is doing.

I'm getting Xbox One for the exclusives and because my friends are getting it. I might end up getting a PS4 late into the generation so I can play some exclusives like I did with the PS3.

Edited by Gatsby: 9/25/2013 9:11:52 PMI'm getting the PS4, I'm sick of Xbox's that keep breaking whereas none of my friends have ever reported their PS3's breaking. I don't even play much 3-4 hours a week, I'm about to buy my third one. All my friends are buying it, I stayed with xbox even after my first rrod because of Halo but after 4, 5 isnt enough to make me stay.

The next in the series was just published. A Moment of Reflection, looking back over last/current gen. I may... er... seem a bit... despondent? Fortunately the positivity of others helps to balance it out.

Edited by Codename 207: 9/25/2013 9:51:02 PMPicking this generation's console is like voting for a politician; It doesn't matter what they're saying NOW, it matters what they were saying THEN. At this point, it's safer to assume they changed their viewpoints because they want your money than it is to assume that they've changed their mind. Personally, I'm going to get a PS4. If XBox wants to shove their unwanted Kinect on their customers this badly, then they're not going to change their stance this easily. They'll probably send off the XBox Ones as they were before the outrage, and then try to re-integrate the features after people have bought the system. Or they might not, it's too early to tell for sure. But I'm not taking any chances. EDIT: Also, I like your site. It reads well. My opinion of it will form once I see more from it.

I'm still decidedly PS4 Reasons why (in order of importance) * More friends will be getting that * $100 Cheaper * PS has exclusive content deal with Bungie * People I've talked to that have first hand experience on both prefer PS4 * Don't care about motion or voice control * I think MS' goal is to lock down the platform and control pricing and game access (even though they backed off, I think they will try to go there again as soon as possible)

going with the Xbone

I have a PS3 for the next few years right now, but later on I'm leaning towards the PS4.

The layout is great but it really needs a better background(side columns) as it is lacking in color

Edited by o_____________o: 9/25/2013 8:21:06 PMI like the color scheme and the aesthetics of the main page. I've always thought white text on a dark background was easier on the eyes. The forums on the other hand look a bit generic and mismatched. They don't fit the theme of the main page. The reviews are well-written, from what I've read so far.
