Community Challenge Idea
Hey guys!
Well I tried PMing Deej a while back but no answer... I know the guy is mega busy, so ill post here, maybe if we get enough attention to this post he'll see it. I had an idea some of the guys in the forums really dug in an old post, and I think most of you will too. I had an idea for a Community Challenge: design a gun and/or item and/or armor, 1st place wins their creation featured, usable, in game. Sweet eh? I figured a community challenge like this would be great shortly after release or maybe like a month before destiny drops, or whenever... either way just throwing an idea out there. What do you guys think? lets make some noise, and see if Deej and the Bungie crew will notice :) cheers!

2 RepliesI would edit the post and make it a better launching point for people to start creating. Perhaps just describe the idea and link to a collection of the drawing board images that Bungie has released for a few of their weapons already.

2 RepliesIt's a nice idea. It's a little early for me to be making promises about fan-created content in the game. We haven't even had the chance to open the doors to this universe yet. I do, however, favor all forms of community enthusiasm and creativity. If you want to go to your own drawing boards and engage each other in a weapon design contest, I could throw in some Gamescom cards to sweeten the pot. Let me pitch this in the Mail Sack on Friday.

1 ReplyI like the idea but the reward seems a bit grandiose. I could see some Destiny loot being exchanged for such an idea however! :) If DeeJ doesn't respond we would be happy to host such a contest. The traffic is a bit light at the moment but with a Bungie tweet it should get something like this kickstarted.
