Hey guys, I'm glad to see such an awesome fan art scene here. I thought I'd share something I just finished and have been working on for quite some time on and off. This is my second piece of Destiny fan art, my first being "The Wayward March":

I have multiple resolutions (including original) and work-in-progress images in the OP:

I don't have any formal art training, so crit appreciated from those who do.

Nice work! But one question, is that guardian in the middle a Hunter or a Warlock? He's got the long coat of a Warlock but also a Hunter hood

Edited by JonnyC0mbat: 11/8/2014 9:17:45 PMAs a trained illustrator, I can tell you right now you have talent. Composition is spot on, nice use of depth, and a nice earthy palette. My only critique is the subject matter. I would suggest signing up with a local college or school and doing some life art, and working on some more serious themes. Your wasting your talent otherwise, and you seem to have a great eye for it. Btw- that snowy scene is fantastic

As a graphic designer myself, i like the look, great illustration!! Only one flaw, the woman should have a mask on.

I expected some work like mine (which is 3 stick figures shooting each other...) and instead got this amazing picture.
-
pretty cool, how long did it take from start to finish? i hope to see more of your work.

Nicely done. I like the ora around the warlock, and great use of depth in the scenery.

Edited by Seven: 8/31/2014 4:20:29 PMThe lighting is very strong. You're talented, how old are you might I ask? Dat tiny hand though ;) id work on your proportions, depth value and contour lines. That vex for example is just popping off the page, when they should be sitting around the same level as that tree. Painting and blurring your eyes will help you see where forms are sitting in space. Anatomy will come with continual practice i asked how old you are because I'll tell you know, admissions officers from schools that will train you formally would certainly be interested in you, especially if you're around the highschool age. Don't let this go to your head, but your as talk ended as some of the sophomores I know (then of course some of the people that come here might as well already have entertainment art jobs)

I love this type of art. Fantastic work. Looks great!

The edges of the three characters are a little jagged but even still it looks amazing!

This looks awesome, well done!

Awesome, but who would snipe a Vex in the head? Anyway very nice!
