Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Although “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” was just released, Hideo Kojima is already thinking ahead in regards to a possible sequel for the multiplatform title. According to a report by Video Gamer on Feb. 22, the game director disclosed that he wants Frank Yaeger, also known as the Cyborg Ninja from “Metal Gear Solid,” to star in the follow-up release. Furthermore, he also revealed that the star will be taking out zombies that are being powered by nano-machines. You can check out some screens from the recently-released action-adventure video game in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Hideo Kojima below (courtesy of Video Gamer):
'Honestly I think that personally if we are going to make a sequel to Rising it should feature Frank Yaeger as a main character versus zombies... nano machine-powered zombies. That's what I'm proposing to Platinum and the producer of the project, but they seem to be ignoring me.'[/i]
Apart from Frank being dead, this could go either way...
Thoughts?

Yeah he is dead but Kojima always wanted to do this. This would not be a sequel lol. As for MGS R, I have been sick/very busy with school to even buy it. Gonna get Tomb Raider and MGS R within the coming week.

Kojima has been pushing for a Grey Fox game since MGS1 came out. He ALWAYS gets shot down and rightfully so. At this point its more of a tradition than an actual wish. MSR2 will be Raiden again, no doubt about it.

niiiice...Frank Jaeger codename "gray fox" is my favorite "cyborg ninja" character.

I don't know much about the MGS story, but it sounds like they could use nano-machines to un-kill this Frank bloke. Kojima is already proposing nano-machine zombies after all.

Edited by OmegaCircuit: 2/25/2013 3:36:38 PMSo would Metal Gear Rising become its own sub-series, just like Metal Gear Solid did?

I can't really imagine a metal gear game playing as someone else besides Snake or Raiden...
