I guess you can call me Ramen. Haha. Um... I discovered that I liked music a lot actually not that long ago. See, I've always been kind of into writing and such, so I'd write poetry and occasionally a random goof-ball song. Well, after I developed more as a writer I began to analyze lyrics of songs. Obviously lyrics to pop songs these days are lame (in my opinion) so instead I looked to music that has more emotional menaing. I now continue to listen to meaningful songs and try to discover all sorts of new bands and tracks. :)

Edited by SoapyBarracuda: 2/20/2013 11:56:36 AMWhat's gravy baby? I listen to (for the most part) every genre of music. Grew up on country and 90's alternative and grunge, primarily listen to hip hop now. I can go from listening to Alan Jackson to Mastodon to Big K.R.I.T. and be perfectly fine with the genre switch up. I just absolutely love music, and have recently built my own home studio to record some of mine and my friends projects. I'm an aspiring rapper (hold your shuns) that goes by "Cali" (a hail to the state I was born in) but grew up on the Beast Coast. Get at me!

How's it going? Just call me Ace or Danny if you like. I grew up with a true metal-head father. I have had heavy metal constantly circling around my ears from an early age and so it only makes sense that I love rock and metal today. Though I can appreciate lots of genres of music and I'm not one for putting others down for their preferences. See you around.

Edited by jbh0220: 1/11/2013 7:27:20 AMI grew-up with Korn, Sublime and Gorillaz. Currently my interests are in Aphex Twin, Beethoven, Bach, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Gorillaz, Rob Zombie, Steve Reich, System of a Down, Cake, Skrillex, Vivaldi, Pink Floyd and Camille Saint-Saëns . I have over thirty-five hours of music sitting around my computer documents, which is 1.81 GB of space. I am an audio engineer -- I work with electricity and analogue to create custom instruments instead of relying on software for music creation and recording. I play piano fluently, I drum with any hard surface I can find -- for lack of actual percussion instruments, I sing (and I do this well for what I've been told). I play bass (guitar), and eventually hope to be able to master a slew of instruments. My next goal is to purchase a ukulele and violin for practice. I read and write my own music, and study Music Theory as often as possible. In the form of influence, I limit myself, for the production of my own work is generally not to be similar to any other known artist.

My name is just so... I am no man of Braavos, rest assured, I am meagerly timid, a forumgoer of many years who seeks nothing more than to be a part of something where I am not noticed. Yes, you heard right. I find my ability to post aimlessly yet thoughtfully without any recognition to be peaceful, quiet, easy, and stress relieving. I love to write, you see.. Not about one particular topic, but about anything that springs to my mind. Now, onto music... My selection of music is quaint yet utterly recognized, you often hear it without knowledge, and it leeches into your intrepid ear holes in valor size. I speaketh thee of a silent killer, yet one which stalks not far, a deluge of tones and pitches and hums, yet one which serves for fun. Okay enough of that. I find my music interests lie in the Soundtrack genre of Movies, Video Games, TV and Anime. I find namely the Orchestral, Electronic and such sub-genres to be fulfilling in more ways then one. My liking to such accounts became evident in 2007, with the release of Halo 3 if you hadn't guessed. I hated the music on the radio, couldn't stand it, yet I couldn't get away from it. It wasn't until 2008 when I decided to check out Halo 3's soundtrack, it was a glorious moment, one which I was able to relive the valiant story told ever so gracefully by our beloved Bungie. Yes, that is the idea. Story. I listen to the music I do to relive what I cannot see, but in a sense in which it combines, intertwines into my daily life. I chose to listen to the music I do not because it was different, but because of what it meaned to me as I listened to it and drifted off into a imaginary world which I've never since forgotten. This is music to me. I also love a few other genres, but this is the big kahuna. the mother of all trout which spawned my passion for music as I know it today. I'm a proud Tenor Sax player.

Hi everyone! I'm onyx spartan or StoredGrunt, or even Josh if you wish to call me that. I've been enjoying music all of my life pretty much, whether it be listening to some of the older cassette tapes we had in the car or to my iPod I now have. I still love picking up a CD on release day though. I bought myself a guitar a couple years ago in hopes to learn how to play it...but sadly things kind of fell apart and I haven't had a whole lot of time to dedicate towards it. I plan on changing that this year if I can however. Catch you all on the site!

My name is just that, and, if you don't know who I am, it doesn't surprise me. My music is all about drumming and rhythm, in which most people consider null and void, but I've been doing so for about seven years now. It's all metal drumming, at least I hope, and I have quite a few influences and a few idols, one of which is Chris Adler and another is Jordan Mancino. Soon to be 18, loving almost all types of metal music, even orchestral-metal, yeah..

Hi, I'm Stansamp (musical reference), previously PhoenixSniperX. I love music. Always have and hopefully always will. If I hear a song at least twice, I'll start to like it so I listen to every genre and every artist, from mainstream to Myspace bands with 11 followers. I'm also a theory buff. I play violin, guitar, piano, bass, mandolin, ukelele, the harmonica, and sing (all proficiently) and I'm in at least three bands at any given time. I make my own stuff, but I don't like cold talking my own stuff so I'll save that for another time. I'm currently listening to Arcade Fire, Pavement, Art Blakey, Handel, Radiohead, Wilco, and The Arctic Monkeys.

Hi everyone, I am Insane Assassin. You can also just call me Peter if you would like. I really only got into music a lot in the past few years. I started commuting which gave me time to listen. I then started going to live shows. I have since met a lot of people due to my liking of music, and it has become a huge part of my life. I look forward to meeting even more music lovers in the future. What is your story?
