This sounds horribly expensive, but still a really worthwhile idea.
Hopefully something like this can be done in the near future without a bankruptcy inducing price.
Though it would have a huge impact on the custom wheel market, and these are rather ugly.

I think it's nice to see some form on innovation in the tire market; especially one that eliminates air from the equation. I can't think of a major advancement in tire technology since the steel-belted radial that actually made it to common market. But it's all going to come down to how they ride. People are going to expect a certain level of grip, rain and snow control, and bump reduction out of their tires, and if these can't at least match the current options, it won't take off. Personally, those look like you'd feel every pebble in the road you drove over.

only comes in a 14" diameter wheel? I also would worry about how reliable it would be after some wear and tear. good idea, but I do not think the technology or the market is here for anything like this yet.
