What do you when a friend or family member buys a bad car?

Sooo my girlfriend is getting a new car. Her is getting a new car. She had a good budget but sadly she bought a rubbish hamster car 2015 Kia Soul. I tried to talk her into a Honda Fit or Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris, 4Runner, Camry, corolla. You know stuff like that but know she ignored my advice she went for that mainly because her parents liked it :/
mainly because her parents liked it
Before or after she bought it? Was it a family car (in her family)? If she didn't have to spend much for it, that's fine and all, but in the end she'll be buying something else before too long. Unless of course it somehow exceeds normal Kia expectations and makes it a couple more years. My Mom always listens to me on cars and has had little to no issues ever. My oldest son has only had cars he had me involved with selecting. Sure there have been a few normal things wear out and need replaced, but that's all part of the deal with any car. My nephews all have cars I've either been involved with acquiring or were from another family member. One of them recently bought a Focus for he trusted that since I have one, my Mom has one and I helped acquire one for his older brother that they're acceptable. No complaints so far. My other side of the family - well they do their own thing and I stay out of it. That's good for they make either questionable or just plain bad car choices.

        • Knock them out. Hypnotize/drug them into thinking thats your car. Profit
